Poor girl, she finally finds a home and a mate and now she's due for more disturbances 

Looks like eggshell from E7 was wrapped around E8's egg so still a nice size pip but no cracking.  M15 removed the cracked shell from the second egg ..sorry for the confusion.

Pip in second egg confirmed!~  

Edit to add:  wow E8 will be here soon I think, egg is cracked already from what I just saw. 

E7 arrived officially at 7.23 am this morning!

We have a PIP! Officially confirmed using photos & videos from yesterday evening, the hatching for 1 egg has begun. The visual confirmation took a bit longer than usual as H & M15 have been doing a great job turning and warming the eggs.

Thank you for the photos of Ivy, she's beautiful!  As for giving up on King, don't count her out yet - it's not yet nesting season so she has no reason to risk her life fighting just now.  I expect she's probably scoping out a few potential sites before Spring comes and she decides to make a move.

You might want to report it to the DEC just as a precaution.  They might be able to investigate and test the food to see if any harm is intended and maybe catch whomever is doing it if it is poison.  Better to be safe than sorry.

King St:  Erin’s Reign as Resident Female Being Challenged pt

Yesterday, Saturday Dec 12, Bruce was able to confirm the presence and identity of a second female on the fringe of the 18 King Street East territory and while he had her in his scope, Linda confirmed Stormin on a nearby condo and I had Erin on camera at the end of the ledge.  In the post that follows this one, I will give you the details on Erin’s challenger and her time here in Ontario that we are aware of.  Her name is Ivy.

I'm keeping an eye on Sheraton as well as every time Ivy was spotted in around King St, we saw strange behavior at Sheraton as well.  Given how close they are, Ivy may not have known where the 'boundary line' is between the two territories.
