You put a big flower pot on the balcony..one of those large orange ceramic ones and fill it up with earth then some pebbles on top....pretend you are growing errr...a tree  but oh no, look what happened a falcon has laid her eggs there...

She's just plain gorgeous-all grown up on us! The adrenaline is still racing thru me 2 hours later! Sure wish y'all could have been on that balcony with me!!!  You should set up a nest box on that balcony, MAK!!! Yes she'll need a box so she doesnt' decide she wants B's!!

I can see some immature feathers on this bird in MAK's photos or I'm imagining it? but I do see brown so she could indeed be Billie.
C&C have a good explanation of molting on their FB page with photos.
As per C&C: First molts for peregrines are incomplete, meaning that they don't have every feathers replaced by the adult gray (which is why you can often see some remaining brown feathers on a young adult peregrine that has only gone through one molt).

MAKfalcon (MAK): After checking my pics I can say there is definitely at least one 7, possibly two 7's on black. This may very well be Billie At STWell wouldn't that be something! Hope you can confirm her ID soon. Good detective work as always ladies!

Maybe GVAS could get involved.  I was thinking the same thing. Doesn't FLAP in Toronto talk to building owners about making windows bird safe? Guess nobody knows here..will have to ask Carly. I'll ask her your question too, Pat. They do yes or enlightened owners can ask them and they will advise them on how to make the buildings safe for birds.
