She probably doesn't understand what is happening to her and why she can't lay her eggs. She's been doing it for over a decade, must be quite confusing for her.

I woke up and saw the talon prints in the snow and knew one of them was there! If you got to CMNH, SW is buried in snow in her box on 3 eggs this morning..poor girl
Egg #2 confirmed just now for Jack and O'Connor! Pretty sure she laid it yesterday between 4-5 pm but it was up by the lip of the ledge and hard to see!
Tracy has known Hurricane since he was hatched and watched over him since he started nesting so it's safe to say that no one knows him better than she does.
Not to mention that Tracy is awesome in general, she has raised falcons, mothered them, healed them and I think knows their behaviour better than anyone I know.
