I'd put some quail or raw chicken breast near the exit and then back out to a safe distance.  It might lure the falcon towards the exit as it is likely hungry and then you'd accomplish two things - feeding it and showing it the way out.  But they'd have to hide somewhere so as not to spook the bird and force it back inside.  That's assuming there is easy access to the exit from where he/she is trapped?

I've lured a few birds trapped in our office towers concourse out that way and make sure the door - if there is one - is propped open with something (not a human) so it won't be afraid to fly to the food and then it will fly out.

OWL is an excellent facility, if anyone can help him they can for sure.  notworthy  Both Milton and Rogue (who's back at Mississauga) did a year there.

So the UT was not a T after all?

UT is still UT - he's with Pigott at her site and Billy has been spotted at another location.  Billy is a juvenile not an adult.  See details report here:  http://rfalconcam.com/falconwatching/?p=15151

The annual Raptor Watch has started at Rosetta McClain Gardens.

Nice little article about the gardens and the watch with a mention of Frank as well.

The DNR down there is disgraceful, they should be fired.  The hunters that are purposely killing these bears -  may karma come back and bite you in the a&& hard for your evil deeds.

What's Poutine again???

French fries with gravy and melted cheese curds...although now there are many more variations but that's what it was when I was growing up in Quebec.  Yummy and gooey and oooh sooo delicious!

!!! Hanging with Mom!
September 24, 2013 - Etobicoke - Sun Life Centre
Kathy Reports:

I spent a half hour on lunch today watching Frank and O’Connor and if I hadn’t have seen it with my own eyes I wouldn’t have believed it.  Frank was perched on the ‘N’ of the Moneris sign and O’Connor was perched on the bottom half of the ‘S’.   Both quiet, Frank with a full crop dozing in amiable silence.  After about 25 minutes - O’Connor vocalized to him - the same way she does with Jack to indicate she’s leaving!  She then flew over the back of the nest site building and perched there.

So she is not only tolerating his presence, she is actively engaging with him..what a great falcon she is!!

I did see Jack today and noticed that when he was visible, there was no sign of Frank around and O’Connor didn’t move from her perch as he went to the nest ledge to preen.  Interesting dynamics going on here.

And right after he took off - O'Connor flew in!  I need a camera..lol!
