When Beauty defeated Mariah, it was said that Archer helped Beauty drive Mariah to the ground.
If DC had a fight with UT this AM and is laying up at BS, is it possible Pigott was involved and might also be injured?  When was Pigott last seen?

Pigott was seen this morning with DC at BS..she was whining alot from the sounds of it but seemed otherwise fine and flew off awhile ago.

Wilmington just realized yesterday their tiercel has been displaced sometime during the past 2 weeks...a few weeks ago at hatch CJ was there and now a unbanded male is there so I know it happens..even to the strong ones.  I hope DC is okay and I adore him but with populations increasing I have to be realistic too.  They have such tough lives.

My primary concern now is those eggs and Beauty.  She's sat on them for so long and her and DC make good babies so I pray, whatever happens, she gets to raise some offspring.  And if something is to happen to him then at least part of him will live on in these potential babies and with B as a mom..well you can't ask for a better falcon parent than her.

Don't mean to be depressing or anything but darn it..we're so close now...!!

I know DC can be funny sometimes but no way he'd not be here by now begging for egg time, especially not so close to hatch.  Maybe there was an altercation.  They hide their injuries too so a predator can't see they are vulnerable. 

An hour late is one thing but almost 6 hours is quite another.

She won't chase him off Kitty.  IF DC is injured or ill, she has to protect her eggs and ensure they hatch safely.  She'll wait it out and if DC is gone then she'll take a new mate if she has to.  The tiercel has to gain her acceptance and trust so she has nothing to lose by being patient.

Beauty is on eggs, can see her distinct markings on Main Cam thank goodness.  That  tiercel..no idea but I'm thinking something happened and DC is injured..no way he'd not be here at this time if he could.

Saw her green/black band ..it's B.

Maybe there was a fight this morning early and DC is injured?  Would explain another falcon in territory now..no way B would allow another female around this close to hatch but she would be hesitant with another male with her eggs.

I hope he is okay, something isn't right.  So close to hatch and he's sleeping and not eating.

Beauty's getting hot and antsy! Wonder what's going on with DC? This is NOT his normal routine!!

Maybe they had vandals again out there last night that kept him up late??  It's not like him to miss time on his eggs.  Or maybe flying between sites has finally caught up with him and he's exhausted!

More sad news,2OR was found death yesterday on one of the rings (level)Of the Mortel Tower.
There must have been a territorial fight (march 26),the last time she was seen.

 

I hear kacking!!  Someone is there!!!  Yay!!!  Baby is back in the box, can see it in the dark.  Parents going nuts!!

I was told they wouldn't go up this late, I'm so glad we were wrong...so happy!!  Just hope Durand doesn't knock herself out with that yelling and flying in the dark!

Cam just went to stripes!!  They might have gone up??  Or baby is by the electrical stuff..hope he's okay.

It's stuck somewhere we can't see..like Scout's baby was all those years ago but in a different spot.  They won't go up until tomorrow which ticks me off as they have known about this for hours and could have gone during light..and it's still light out!!  So instead we have to pray the kid survives the night out there.    

Durand is confused, she tried to feed the eggs earlier.  She hears the crying but thinks it's coming from the egg as when she goes out she can't see the baby.  She was even crying at one point, it was heartbreaking to hear and see.

Oh and...Rosie (his girlfriend) would be a sister to Cass at Mississauga MEC!!  (different year I think)  

Their mother Hathor was born at Cathedral of Learning in 2003 to Dorothy and Erie..so full sibling to Beauty (I missed that the first time around!!!) 

So Beauty's niece is hanging out with DotCa's younger brother..such a small falcon world!
