I don't think I posted this here but since Kitty mentioned working on DotCa's family tree...here is an interesting bit of background on the link between DotCa and Pigott.

BTW..here is the full 'relationship' between DotCa and Pigott - they are related through both of DC's parents...

DotCa - born to Angel and Jack at Etobicoke Sunlife 2010
Jack - born to Sal and unidentified female at MEC in 2002.
Sal - son of Madame X and Percy.
Grandma = Madame X

Pigott - born to Madame X and Surge
Surge - son of Angel and Marco (full brother to Windwhistler)
Grandma = Angel

Update on a successful MEC girl - same dad as Jack, not sure about mom as she's not banded and neither was Jack's mom.  Given she was born in 2003 and he in 2002, likely they are full brother and sister but could be half.  Sal - their dad is a son of Madame X and her prior mate - so connect the dots on that one

Lots of chirping birds in the area where he grew up as it's in the centre of a residential area and there is a river and a park right behind the buildings where they fledge from.  However Jack is a very chatty bird and makes those noises as well..both he and Angel used to chit chat alot.  Interestingly I've yet to hear Jack and O'connor chat to each other the same way.  I think he's scared of her 

Madame X and Surge's three wee ones were banded in Hamilton today!  Pigott and Durand have three new little brothers

!!! Don Mills nest banding has been booked and confirmed - Monday June 4th at 1:30pm!

We are delighted to announce that we have confirmed the banding of the baby hatchlings on Monday June 4th at the Don Mills nest site. A meet and greet will take place at 1:30pm on the 5th floor of Harlequin corporate head office, with banding to commence at approx. 2:00pm.

Thanks for replying Kris.  I was actually more worried something was wrong as he kept looking up and usually he and Beauty aren't away from the eggs for too long.  I know they'll be fine in the sun but just wanted to ensure Beauty was okay - with everything that's gone on here the past year..well you tend to get nervous when they break from routine.

ps:  It's strange but at work, on the cam it looked the egg had broken.  I think it's time for a coffee break.

Is Beauty okay?  Sorry about my dumb posts.  Watching from work with no access to Stream and I was worried when no one was there.

Sorry, it was light, egg is fine.  He's on nestbox with food.

Oh no the egg broke, the old one.  Maybe he thinks he needs to feed something?
