These two are very sweet to watch together.  It's like we are witnessing their romance in it's early stages...they did it backwards...got married fast and are now taking time to get to know each other 

We need more tiercels in the city but we don't seem to attract them so much as the females.  The ones born here don't do very well either.  Too many glass buildings, too much traffic and then the evil airport where all 3 male juvies died last year from one site alone.

I haven't kept up on all the events over the past year.  What is the update on Linn?        ???

Actually there was an update earlier this Spring.  Linn was seen mating with Reuben - who has a nest site adjacent to the area she has taken as hers.  He has a long time mate Lawrie and watchers were surprised to see him wooing Linn and trying to incubate eggs with Lawrie at the same time.  Needless to say his main nest site failed - probably due to inclement weather as that site is not a nest box site, it's on an roof I think.   We haven't had an update as to whether or not Linn actually laid any eggs but from what I understand there were no successful hatches in Scarborough this year. 

So we need a current update to find out what happened to Linn, did she lay eggs and they failed or did she decide to leave her two timing mate!  My understanding is that there were no successful hatches in Scarborough at all this year. 

Our map updater hasn't had a chance to update the map.

I checked yesterday's satellite data. Quest is still in Port Hope.

I notice Quest's signal hasn't been updated for 6 days now, am I reading it right and is that normal?

She is a pretty little girl.  Why does she have the little toys with her?  Is she hurt?

The toys are to play with    Nova is also now Chevy-Nova as it turns out 'she' is really a 'he'. 

Thanks Shaky.  I clicked on the blue indicator and it says 'updated yesterday' - meaning the 21st so that means she's safe and sound...

Yesterday I found 17 dead finches where I work all laying under the trees, they must have drowned during the storm..it was a heartbreaking sight and something I've never seen before 

Five tornadoes touched down in and around the GTA area and including a location west of where Quest is located...the storm moved her way so hopefully she is in a safe spot.  When will we get the next transmission from her? 

I have to say I've never seen the severity of storms we had here tonight...unbelievable.

Great idea to have a forum here!  Now when we come and check on Mariah and her offspring...it's one stop shopping.  Well done!! 

That nestbox on the Hawkeye building is good news.  Perhaps in a few weeks when the birds start their migrations...Mariah can attract a new mate.  She has a nice area, a nestbox and of course she's a fierce beauty - what more can a single tiercel ask for!
