Wow the new set up looks amazing and the cam quality!

Beauty preening at Powers.  DC and B were bonding earlier.

Workers removed the nest box at Times Square so it can be replaced with a new one. I knew it was going to happen eventually but didn't know it was scheduled for today. Sorry for no announcement.

    Thanks for letting us know!  Can't wait to see the new digs!

Quinn In Rehab

On August 20th, Rochester Animal services picked a young peregrine falcon and brought it to a local vet/rehabilitator. The rehab facility has contacted me and provided me with the auxiliary band number (Black Band D/62). They tried to report the band, but have not received a response, but based on the information on your site, I believe this may be one of the young from the Sheraton Centre (Quinn).

Based on the X-rays, there didn’t appear to be any broken bones, just some bruising. The falcon seems to be doing very well, both eating and flying. It is being transferred to a facility with a larger flight facility so that it can strengthen its flight and be tested for release. If all goes well, it should be released relatively soon. I will let you know how it goes.

I am happy to confirm that ARIA (black/green, 85/BA, 2016 hatch from Rochester) and her mate, we call him 'INDY' as he has no official name (black/red, 13/N, a 2013 hatch from Gary, Indiana) are still the couple at an Etobicoke Private Residence.

Awww..poor Lakota, probably wanted food.  It was a similar situation at our site today too with Bliss chasing mom and dad around everywhere and yelling her head off most of the morning.  She was so loud I could hear her inside the office at my desk.
