They banded at my site today too - just waiting on Lucie to post the details and photos but it was 3 boys and 1 girl for Darcy and Lucky.

BANDING - Sheraton Centre, June 4

Two boys for this site which has an unbanded adult female and the adult male is thought to be STORMIN.

Welcome BONVOY (C/59, blue band, 580g, 21 days old) and QUINN (D/62, red band, 590g, 22 days old)
Both names are meaningful to this site as Bonvoy is the name of Marriott's new loyalty program, and Quinn is named after Quinn's Steakhouse and Grill in the hotel.

We wish our boys safe and successful fledges ❤️

Interesting. I almost wonder if she wanted them to come out of the box to be fed.

I was afraid Donna would try to go over that next part especially in this wind.  Was relieved to see B come over and feed her.  

All 3 girls again this year!!  I'm calling them the JC DreamGirls.  Banding Day today and Mike and I got to go!!  THANK YOU New Jersey Fish & Wildlife biologists Kathy and Ben and Conserve Wildlife of New Jersey.  Here are a few photos.

Congratulations, they are beautiful!  I'm so happy to see three here this year after the challenges of the past few years.   

5.00 pm - B landed on edge of platform with food, kids went wild but she ate some herself first (as she should).  Donna jumped out of the next box and mom moved closer and is now feeding her.  Very windy out there from the looks of it.  Other three still in the box crying for food.

5.11 pm - Came back from kitchen and 3 kids on deck now .

5.18 pm - Everyone on deck now 

Too funny..Donna jumps out of the box when mom comes in with food, three others follow and she goes back in the box.  



And back out again!

Thanks for 'duck' visit video Kitty.  I love how the kids were kacking away    and Beauty is like don't worry kids, that's just dinner coming by to say hello 

Looks like geese to me Kitty.  We have a resident pair here too at my site, they nest on the lower rooftops.

Could be that too.  With the long necks my first thought was geese.  I'm sure that went over well with Beauty
