Surprised - I always thought Mercury was the god of communication. But maybe "interaction" comes closer to both.

Actually, the episode on the bridge, where the juvie sat on the bridge, just behind the blue "fence" on either side of it, as everyone walked by, most of them not even noticing her, was probably longer ago than 2008, so I guess it may not have been her. I thought I had a photo of her looking between the blue bars, but I can't find it.

Carol P - is my memory correct (it often isn't) that it was Seneca who sat on the pedestrian bridge, just outside the railings, watching the people go by only inches away? So you and I, wanting to show her that she should not trust people, ran towards her to scare her away - and people thought we were just awful!

Thanks, Shaky.

Thanks, Lisa.

For non-Rochesterians, here is a picture of one of the bridges over the Rochester gorge of which Seneca may well have a memory - and I think it looks a lot like where she is now.

Is it only possible to post a picture from the web, and not from one's own computer?

Do we know where Cheyenne is from? Ancestors?

Taking a look at Quest's map... she's getting closer... Now I'm wondering about that adult female who got chased off today.

Do they have an established preference on location when at Midtown - which is a vast area? I can see some pieces of it from my window (5th floor of Sibley building) and so far have not seen any sign of them. Of course, I am meant to be looking at students, not falcons, but...

If falcon-love is in the air, then all is well with the world - or at least this small piece of it - regardless of who may or may not win the basketball!!

Am I right in vaguely remembering that Mariah produced a lot more females than males? Could there be a surfeit of females? It is hard to imagine that no handsome young tiercel has found either Beauty or Quest without there being some reason. Quest seems to be moving around too much to have found a sweetheart.

True, that irregular feather occurs in photos of Beauty. Just a thought, though. Are we sure it does not occur in any other falcons?

Mor ethan ten inches in my driveway this morning - and I had to be at MCC by 8 a.m. I made it, too. And it has hardly stopped all day.

I like the drop-down - works fine on Firefox. I agree that it is a little too sensitive. I like to hover my cursor on something before it drops down rather than have a succession of drop-downs appear and disappear just because I'm moving my cursor past them. But I'd rather have that than not have the drop-downs at all.

(Note, Shaky, that this time I actually said something good about something on the forum, which is probably a first! Don't take it personally - I just find forums in general confusing. I once took a two-day training on journaling. They gave us a loose-leaf folder than contained six different places for different kinds of journal. I ended up not using it because I didn't know which to put where. Similar principle. It's just the way I think that doesn't fit the format.)
