Thanks for the bat, Dot!!
IĀ“ve got several cute ones, but I donĀ“t know why I canĀ“t paste them here.
IĀ“ve tried copying them, and pastiing them OK in other message but here, when I right-clicked, the paste option is not available

Catherine was excited to have found a Northern Water Snake, but her heart still belongs to Wallace.

Great job!!
That is a boy, probably looking for a female... Most of the big hairy spiders you can find walking are males. Females usually stay close their burrows

Well, this isn't exactly on topic of "garden spiders" but it's a common spider around here. And I saved its life. I think.

Well, here not only the comercial long lines are a problem. The lines that are left or lost by coastal sport fishers add its negative impact too.

What is it with the feet???

Maybe in open water where long-line (think the Perfect Storm) fishing is being done, but not on the Bay.

I figure it was a "Jersey" hummingbird  Wink

Can you explain me why? I understand it is a joke, but donĀ“t understand the meaning of it...

I also heard the windmills kill bats. something about the change of pressure causes thier lungs to collapse

Exactly, it seems bats donĀ“t be killed by the fan blades, they are suffering the changes of pressure colse to the wind mills.
