Great job!! That is a boy, probably looking for a female... Most of the big hairy spiders you can find walking are males. Females usually stay close their burrows Mirta Well, this isn't exactly on topic of "garden spiders" but it's a common spider around here. And I saved its life. I think. Grace

Well, here not only the comercial long lines are a problem. The lines that are left or lost by coastal sport fishers add its negative impact too. Mirta What is it with the feet???
Maybe in open water where long-line (think the Perfect Storm) fishing is being done, but not on the Bay.
