I agree.  That little eyas was fitted with a trasmitter. Hope they used the same nail polish they used on Quest!   It's on for three years now! 

Sorry - none of my posted answer to Kris' question posted in the right place!  

Just browsing around and I found some more pictures posted from banding day on CPF (having trouble opening all the reports right now and the thumbnails aren't showing-they're opening for me when I click on them)...(edit-aggravating me to see no thumbnail-changing where the pictures are located)

      



I am also having trouble.  I get a screen that says access is denied as i am not logged in?   I thought it was my Internet Explorer, but everything else seems to be working.   
I can access the first screen of CPF and then when i click on latest news, I get the access denied screen  403. 
It we are both getting that, it's probably a problem with their site.

YIKES!  What a dirty face!  Good thing we know why it looks like that!

I'm being denied access to all pictures and reports on CPF today which has never happened before.  Is

YAY!   Thank you devoted Joyce!   I had just posted about when was Beauty last  spotted.  Glad she is okay!

Wondering where Beauty is!! Archer's been at KP most of the day. Very bad of him!

I am also wondering where Beauty is.  I hope we get a report from the on-the-scene watchers tonight. 
B was last seen before 5 pm tonight is what I am gathering from the reports. Is that correct?  But she has not been seen since then? 
But looking at watcher reports, it seems that Archer is bonding more to Unity,  and Beauty is or has been rejecting Archer? Sad at all of this is, it is fascinating to watch. 
.      We are so used to watching them on camera that it is hard to not "see" what is going on-- especially at this time of year when it is hatching time/even banding time during other years!

We may never know all the answers to this year's happenings, but it is one for the archives!

 Wait, am I still following this correctly?    I know B followed A up to KP, but   she is still up there hanging out on one of the stills?   I think we need a really clear Falcon watch report tonight.  Did I read Mak's report right?   "B on West still, A on tall still north side?"  Is that right?    And Unity whining in the background?

Ok, I know none of this is funny, but Margaret, this made me LOL.  

BTW, MAK reported incorrectly on this tweet, it was really just Unity and Archer at that point.

 
I know now that I missed MAK's correction  to her tweet.  I haven't been following too closely today, but when I read about all three being at KP  ...at least we got a laugh.. And a great picture of Quest's eyas. 
So it's a better day. 

Thanks to Ei and carly for letting us know about the postings on the CPF site, and to CPF and to Anne for her pictures of Quest and the eyas and Quest and Kendal and the eyas.   
With all the food that has been stashed/cached for this  eyas, may she/he grow strong, and fly high like her mom. 

So wonderful to see Quest up close.  Three years ago she was just a new babe herself. 
This weekend has been a roller coaster.

Beauty was there earlier when Carol was on watch. Beauty then took of due North and has not been seen since. Only Beauty and Archer were at KP at that time. Now it's Archer and Unity at KP. Still confusing? You betcha!

Can we say menage a trois?   
So Beauty has not been seen since when?

For a lighter moment...I just looked at the CPF site, no pics, but I did follow their link to You tube of
Rochester Falcon Quest banding day.   Quest's banding was on May 30 2008.   Three years from tomorrow.
So now after all her peregrinations, she has her own little eyas to take care of.  I hope for pictures soon.
