CPF volunteer and ace photographer,Ann Brokelman sends along these incredible shots of Quest. Neither rain nor snow prevented Ann from getting these pictures! WOW,OUTSTANDING,are the only words I can think of.(they may take awhile to load but hang in,its worth it)

OMG.  I just saw these pics for the first time.  Absolutely breathtaking.  Quest is gorgeous!    Ann captured such good shots!   Is Quest the most followed falcon of all time?    Does anyone know?  Is she the most photographed falcon of all time?   A new word for the Oxford Dictionary?  "celebu-bird"?   

Congratulations, Donna!  You are glued to your computer, but it's all good for us.  You keep us informed!

Fun to re-read the story of Quest's transmitter fitting.  I remember it well.  I still can't get over how she's been tracked, and although we never saw her, we knew where she was, with maybe the occasional lucky picture.  And now...she's living out  "domestic"  life in a most unexpected and public way!   Amazing story, and we are so fortunate.  Thank you to CPF and Harlequin and of course the "Rochester Gang".   

Thanks, too.  It seems Quest has taken over rfalconcam from Beauty and Archer.  Only fitting since she is from the last clutch of Mariah and Kaver.   There is a special bond to all of us here.  Now I'm teary eyed.

I'm sure we'll get back to our regular programming soon!

Tracy and I will be joining the "Rochester Gang" on their Quest quest. Another volunteer Ann has a big honkin lense and will be taking copious numbers of photos! Stay tuned this afternoon for photos.

I've been in contact with the Harlequin ladies and they are ecstatic to have Quest and Kendal nesting near by.  

Quest's new CPF page is now under Toronto - Don Mills. We can follow the adventures of her Harlequinesque romance with Kendal, of Toronto origin.

A link in their Harlequin article (click on highlighted Quest) points to the defunct marchlords.com website. I don't know what the new one is, but is there any way to contact them and have it updated?

Well, we certainly don't have to wonder any more about the antenna.  Doesn't seem to interfere -- judging from that graphic new clip.  :-) 
I am still  astonished, and so happy over this situation.   I was happy just to see little blips on the maps of tracking Quest to know she was alive and well, but not settled.  And to not only know she is settled, but to see so much now...poor thing has no privacy at all.  But hurrah for the watchers!  Great news from Toronto. 
And Mariah and Kaver's genes go on!

...and, MAK, YOUR photos and blogs are ALWAYS APPRECIATED!  I was just thinking of it as I read your post from yesterday and today.  Horrible weather this weekend, yet you were out and snapping pics, following the pefas.  Your dedication is amazing.  I was looking through the album on FB....in all kinds of weather, you are out there with the camera and the falcons.

Thanks, carly, for the Toronto update on our "international woman of intrigue".   Who knew that Quest would become an international world traveller/television celebrity?  And I still can't get over the luck she had in finding such an easily visible nest site.   It could have been a power plant and we'd never see her as clearly!  Someone is looking out for our Quest!
 

Is is a wonderful story!  I love the picture of Kendal flying in with takeout for Quest!  Too bad our own Rochester paper didn't cover the story.   Quest's legacy can be traced back here...come on D and C, give Quest's story some coverage!
