Great Video on You tube. I love that both of the girls' head swivel in unison as they are watching one of the parents overhead. Great video piece!
The heads swiveling in unison is one of the things I've been most looking forward to with the video stream. For years we've been able to almost see it-it's as much fun as I thought it would be! Think how funny it would be to set some their "move" to music. It could be the first "PeFa Ballet"!

Don't get any ideas there girl! Callidora's up on the perch...they both watched (probably) Mom fly up above...she lost her footing for a second, but she held her perch. Video captured. OK...let's see how it goes (had the sound off-I'm at work) Video on youtubeGreat Video on You tube. It is so great that we can still follow Quest's "quest". She does stick right along that shoreline doesn't she? I notice Port Hope is not far from Coburg (I think that was one of her stops on her "tour" during the last two years). Coburg is almost a straight line run across the lake from Rochester. So even though she's on the other side of the lake, she is pretty close Rochester.

Jemison's a big girl now! You know, that may be the case, but I am happy that I'm going to be out of town for a few days and will miss the morphing of these two - they are even more scruffy this afternoon. The cameras are so good that we can see them changing by the hour sometimes, but they are really funky right now. You are so right! Yesterday it seemed they were changeding by the minute. Their white down was disappearing as I watched, and the dark feathers were coming in by the minute. It is amazing to watch. They are in that "ugly duckling" stage, but still sooo cute. I love their closeups.

Camera 2 at 9:37. Are the girls sleeping on their backs or is it just my eyes? The resolution on camera 2 isn't great, but it really looks like they are on their backs.
I think it's an optical illusion...they're in the "moth-eaten" phase...patches of fluff & feathers Thanks. I think maybe you're correct. "Moth-eaten" is a good way to describe them! That wing picture is great. They are growing so fast, it's right in front of our eyes. How much longer until they are ready to fledge? While browsing I found these wings!
