We could also try for the bonus for Wild Wings in our later scheduled slot... http://www.roctheday.org/WildWingsIncDoesn't need to be a huge donation since it's number of donors...just a thought That's not a bad idea. Count me in!Even if everyone just donated a dollar, they would have a good chance! Can someone contact Wild Wings to let them know that some of us are going to donate between 10 am and noon? They may want to organize their contributor base and combine forces with us. Didn't make it til 10 pm last night! Congratulations for the 1000. Just donated now to falconcam and will do it again after 10 am! And will do Wildwings too! Up to 72,000 total when I just checked!

9 days and counting until midnight 12.12.12. My two favorite organizations are in ROC the Day: Rfalconcam and Wild Wings Inc. Sign up for a reminder - http://www.roctheday.org/Every hour one lucky ROCstar (donor) will be randomly chosen to give an extra $500 bonus to the charity of their choice. 24 chances to win! Plus...Rochester Area Community Foundation we'll be checking every two hours to see what registered organizations has the most ROCstar donors during that time period. The organizations with the most unique donors during each two-hour period will get an extra $1000 bonus, and there are 12 up for the grabs! (Agencies can only win this bonus once.) Can we pick an hour so we can all donate in that hour? Not to be a cheater or do anything wrong. I wait for this to donate because of all the bonus money available ! Hope it is good this year. I see no reason why we can't try to coordinate the 2 hour time period to try and take advantage of the bonus. But the most important thing is to give.

Have to look again to see if I can figure out who has the feather duster & Orville here Diamante claiming Orville for his very own! Where is Quest in this pic? I am thinking she is the big girl on the right, but if it was banding day, I don't see the transmitter! Is that Quest on the right? Hi Margaret. Quest is in the middle of the picture lying down, snoozing. You can just make out the transmitter antenna on her back. Thanks, Carol! Now I see it!

While hunting for Orville pics I found this one of Diamante on banding day! Too cute, Dumpsterkitty! I found a few pics of Diamante too when I was going through some of my old pics today: he is on the left in each pic. Love to see these pics! I remember these days so well! And let's not forget our Quest - the big girl in the middle with the red transmitter harness across her chest! Then in 2008 and now in 2012. A treasure to see Diamante and Quest!

A quick scan through my current backup drive...I'll have more time this weekend to go back further... The earliest photos clearly showing Orville so far is March 15, 2007... ...waiting patiently on the front left corner. In this classic view he's shifted to in front of Kaver. There is something about these pictures that is so touching. I love to see Mariah and Kaver. I watched kodakcam or whatever it was in the early days. Seems so ancient now. The lattice work behind them is lovely. I remember mention of Orville ...he's been around for a while too!
