Day 15 in Paradise brought a disaster of sorts. My sis and I went to visit my niece and in their excitement to greet me her dogs knocked my camera out of my hand and it hit the patio blocks hard. Unfortunately it is inoperable and needs to go to Canon to see if it can be fixed. I did take 2 pics this morning of Ginger. She was in the pasture past the barn when I first got up and so I grabbed my Canon PowerShot to take a pic or two. Last ones for awhile but I do have videos I can share-so back to McDonalds tomorrow to upload 1 or 2 using their wifi. These pics show the view I had when I came out of my bedroom this morning to start the day! http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AaN3DFm0ZMWrOdgOh no..hope the cam can be repaired! Your pictures and narratives have been wonderful and fun to read. You are having too much fun! Enjoy the rest of the time down there..sounds like ya'll picking up that southen' accent!

Thanks for more of the history of Rhea Mae's name! I knew that she was from Mariah and Kaver, and that she hatched in 2006, and that Carol had named her. I knew her nest mates, but I didn't know the background of her name. Wonderful! And I love following Rhea Mae and Tiago as they raise their young. Wonderful story!

I don't know how to say this other than she suddenly passed away yesterday from a massive stroke. She had just gone home on Tuesday from a visit down here and we had a great time, she was doing really well. Anyone who met her just loved her, she was so much fun. She sure is going to be missed. Rest in peace "Sis" Rest in peace, Anne in Toronto -- as I knew you from here. I enjoyed your devotion to the falcons. Rest in peace.

YAY, MAK finally made it to Arkansas, it only took 42 hours, 5 bus transfers and not 1 BUS left their station on time!! Time of arrival, 1:42AM. Let the fun begin! Enjoy MAK!! Which 1:42? The one before the clocks were set back at 2, or the one after? I don't know for sure-all I know is the text message beeping woke me up around 3:10 DST-phone said the text was at 1:39-so I'm thinking it was the one after. 2:39 DST, 1:39 EST Yep, after the time change!

MAK is in St Louis, she can see the Arc!! Next bus leaves at 6:10pm, it's 5pm there now. Hopefully she will get on the next bus. The bus always seems to be full when they pull in. Double, triple booked!! They sent 2 buses this time! Hope she gets on! You'll get there yet MAK!!
Um, you posted this at about 7 PM Eastern Time. St. Louis is on Central Time, one hour behind. That means it was 6 PM in St. Louis, not 5 PM. MAK's bus was leaving in only a few minutes. I hope she caught it. No, I had it written out in time, I just forgot to hit post because my phone rang. It was all the times I said, I just forgot! I do that from time to time, get distracted! You are allowed to get distracted, Donna. We all do. And you do so much to keep us in the know! So keep us posted on how you and MAK are doing!

I was going to say the same thing carly said - that some times things happen for a reason. And they did for MAK!. If your bus had not been delayed/overbooked, you wouldn't have seen the Indy falcon! It is perfect. But I do hope you arrive at your sister's soon! Happy trails to you!
