Today's re-post-Beauty's release from rehab!

I think this needs to be a part of the calendar, Carol!  This IS the year!   2012 began with Beauty's injury, it continued with her return...yes, you need to include somewhere Unity and Archer.  Hopefully they were captured on the main cam so that meets the requirement.  But Beauty is the mom of the year!
And she does look tired today.

Always love to see pictures of Quest.   I hope that transmitter falls off soon. She had done so well for the four years, but it's time for it to go.   Hopefully, Quest will stay at Harliequin for a long time. 
Now, if we only knew where Harlie was....

Thanks, Kris. When I looked at cam 4, it looked like Beauty to me. I sure home someone has seen DC tonight!  I know he may be hiding or visiting, but I'd like to read that someone saw him.

Congratulation on Molly's 10th birthday, and Wesley's 11th birthday!   That is a  wonderful benchmark to celebrate, and I wish you all many, many more celebrations.  I know how important they are.   
Time does go too fast these days, so celebrate each one.   Lovely picture~!

Lovely and moving video tribute to our Miracle on the TSB!  Thank you, Ginny, for  putting together this beautiful tribute to the ROC falcons.   It made me stop and think ..since February ...how much has happened.   Beauty injured, Unity in NB,  Archer injured.   Beauty released.  Unity passes.  Doc .ca comes to town.    The eggs...angel egg...and Orville...all of whom kept Orion company and became his nestbox mates.   And of course now Pigott in  town as well as new pefa at  KP.   
Orion is a miracle, so thank you for taking the time to set it all to music for us.

Handsome Kendal, who has been a  very good mate to our Quest, and a good parent to their offspring!

   I have such a love for Quest...our hatch from M and K in 2008.     
Safe journey to Kendal  -- wherever he may go, and hope to see him upon his return next spring to re-join our Quest and raise more young.

He is Beauty -ful!  His facial expression is the same  when he was a ball of fluff as when he matured a bit!   
 

Maybe some clever person with connections could cause Orville replicas to be made, and we could donate to Falconcam and get a souvenir Orville

Dittoes - I have my "bricks for chicks"  right by my bird's cage!   He actually ate a corner of the box..

I'm not understanding DC's position here. Beauty & Orion battle intruding female and he sits and does nothing? He's not with Orion during the morning watch while MAK is there. Orion hunts with Beauty, talon tags with Beauty. What exactly is DC's role here? I've never heard of such a thing. Don't get me wrong here, I really like DC but I don't think he knows what his role is yet. If he's suppose to be watching the air space, he failed tonight letting his son take that role. It's said that males don't go after females that come into their territory but he had no problem going after Beauty. Hmmm. Help me out here guys!  ???

An interesting question given the fact that he went after Beauty with such ferocity earlier in the season?   Maybe so much more that we don't understand.  Orion and Beauty do seem to have a special bond, and DC does appear to stay in the back ground...hmmmm....good questions.

Sorry - just catching up once again, and confused....are all Pefas accounted for?   B, Dc? O, KP, BS? 

What happened?  Was it two fem pefas or herons?   Both?
