She has feet like Rosetta! Guess it is pretty common!  Thanks for all your rescue efforts!

Can someone explain the blue foot thing we are seeing this year?  I've been following  (lurking?)  for a number of years, and I haven't seen this blue foot phenomenon that we are seeing this year.   And they are not changing?  Who can shed more light on this  strange thing we are seeing?

So much brown feathers showing through the white fluff.

Oh my goodness, they're beautiful.

Yes, they are!  "...an aerie of little eyases".  (Shakespeare, Hamlet, many years ago).
Gotta love them!  (margaret, 2013)

There was some discussion at what age Orion went out on deck...and made it on to the front rail...

Day 27 (July 17, 2012)

Day 32 (July 22, 2012)

Such a sweeeet little guy.  Notice how clean and neat te NB and poop deck is?    Big difference betweem raising one and raising three little ones!
42  Rochester Falcons / Rochester Falcon Discussion / Re: Fledge Watch 2013 on: 24-Jun-13, 12:11:53 AM
Anyone have an idea when these little ones might fledge? They certainly seem eager to make their next move.

The rule book says 35 days is the absolute earliest. Usually more in the 37-44 day range with the boys going first.

So...

Baron     30-Jun   7-Jul
Rosetta    1-Jul   8-Jul
Voyager    2-Jul   9-Jul

I am betting these youngsters go earlier.

Relaxing summer is over...

They are some bold and brassy youngsters!  Take after their swooping dad and survivor mom!  It's in the genes.

WOW NCA, you covered just about the whole day!! Good job!!  thumbsup

yeah you did!  Wow!  There was definitely something going on up in the skies in that video.  The kids were frozen in place, but i could hear the alarm kakking.    Could it be the traffic, crowds, music starting from the Jazz Festival, or was that  captured earlier in the day?  I didn't notice the time.      For the next ten days the Jazz Festival is going on and I know in previous years, music can be heard over the live stream.    I don't think it was music tonight though.  Something was going on with Beauty.   I hope all is well.
