:clap:YAY. for Quest's and Kendal's little ones and their banding.   Quest has always been special to me, and following her is such a joy.  I remember her banding day so well...even though I watched it long distance from work  (shhhhh!).  But I also ventured to the bridge at High Falls and Kodak (one afternoon) and saw all five of the fledges flying high in late June.  So she is special, and her quest has been so fascinating!   I hope some of you dedicated watchers can go up and view the banding, and maybe name one of the young un's? 

I didn't like that he was thumping Beauty but I am so glad he has stayed.  And he really was a wonderful mate to Unity, poor gal. 

I understand, and agree with you 100 percent!   But he is proving himself now!   He is a large, strong falcon, so perhaps he will will pass on his good genes!

I knew from the beginning with Unity that DC would make a good mate for Beauty once he realized getting together was the right thing to do rather than battling with a lady! 

And you were right!   But what a long, strange, twisted road it has been!  ...and it ain't over yet!   Who knows what BS will bring?   Only the watchers know!    ;-)

That was perfect!  Thank you, Shaky!  Why do all these things happen on the weekend when I am not near a computer/anything for hours at a time?   Amazing.  So happy for our Beauty!  This was lovely to watch

Good news is all over !  Congratulations to Linn and Reuben,  and RHea Mae and Tiago, and Quest and Kendal, and now  Beauty and DC for their egg.   A good day.

  Thank goodness!  This is such wonderful news for our ROC falcons.  Unbelievable!
I just lit some candles for our Beauty and her egg!  Think of all that has happened since February when Beauty was injured.  She has survived so many things!  She held her own space.  Now she has her egg, and from the looks of things, her hormones have driven her to accomplish all of this.  Celebrate today - the day that Beauty laid her egg!
Now I have a question, although I think I know the answer:  has an egg ever been laid this late in season in Rochester?  Anywhere in this area?  It's May 16, so when will the egg hatch?  Banding ?  Fledge watch?    Am I asking too many questions?

 :heart:Love to see Quest and hear of her adventures.  Does Quest hold the record as far as being a transmitter falcon?  It's been four years this year that she was fitted with that transmitter. 
I think it's fascinating.
