Thanks, Kat, for the report, and thanks, Donna for the pictures! love to see our Quest looking so beautiful! That transmitter is going to be four years old this spring! Gotta love that Mexican Red Nailpolish. Is there any information out there about any other falcon or other bird having a transmitter on for four years?

I sooo miss our morning visits! I miss your morning reports! It ain't the same without ya! As soon as I rehab from the next knee replacement surgery on the 23rd I'm gonna do my best to get my own wheels so I can go every morning again. My chances are slim, but one can hope! keep my fingers crossed for you for the surgery and the wheels!

The 2012 Rochester Falcons in Toronto calendar is now for sale. We have had the unique and wonderful experience of following our eyases: Rhea Mae (2006), Linn (2007), and Quest (2008), mature into adulthood and raise fledglings of their own. This calendar features pictures of them as eyases and fledglings in Rochester and as adults, along with their families, in Canada. Many thanks to our friends at the Canadian Peregrine Foundation for helping us share this experience. The Merchandising team hopes you enjoy this calendar as much as we do, and we believe there is still plenty of time to order these as gifts to support rfalconcam. Thanks, Dana I just wanted to let everyone know that I received my Rochester Falcons in Toronto calendar today and I love it. The quality is outstanding and the pictures came out great. I was very happy with how it turned out. I also received my Rochester Falcons in Toronto calendars just before CHristmas. One for me, and one for a friend in Florida. This is a great calendar with Rhea Mae, Lynn and of course our Quest and Harlequin. Great shots and what a wonderful opportunity for Rochester and Toronto falcon lovers to collaborate. Lovely pictures by all! I only just saw the Wildlife Pictures Calendar thumbnails for the first time today, and they are great as well. You are all so talented!

Timbits is Tim Horton's slang for donut holes.
Who's Tim Horton?? :happy:I can help you with timbits and Tim Hortons, Donna. Tim Horton was a Canadian hockey? player I think who began a successful donut chain in Cananda. Think Dunkin Donuts. They have since come into the upstate area...I don't know how far south, but they are entrenched in the Rochester area. Timbits are donut holes. Coffee is excellent at Tim Hortons, but I brew Dunkin' Hazlenut at home :-) Next time you are up here, someone will have to take you for some of Tim's bits!
