Look at Harlequin peeking out from under Quest! Quest's a really good mom! She's not giving the "fearsome foursome" any good views of Harlequin. Kendal's been very scarce lately. Rarely seen on cam. But is Kendal bringing food to Quest somewhere the camera doesn't pick up? I've been wondering if Quest is having to do all the hunting as sometimes she lives Harlie for quite a bit. When is the last time Kendal was seen on cam?

Beauty sporting a new feather "fascinator" LOL, she was preening her back and when she surfaced....there it was! Sorry, but is B looking a little on the slimmer side? I find that unusual given that prey pickins' would be more abundant in these warmer months than in the frigid months that we followed her and she appeared to me plumper chasing the prey with Mr. T? Anyone? From watching them in past summers, I've seen when it's very hot, they can make themselves real slim like that. Probably cooler? I kind of wondered about that too, Kris. Quest and Beauty have both had similar stances in the heat, and I know that birds pant and hold out their wings to cool off, so I think you are correct! Thanks!

Thank you paul for posting that image of Quest and Harlie. She was fed at 5 something tonight. And a bad storm did pass through. I'm 20 miles east of Rochester and I've had hail hitting windows, dimming lights and computer power, and driving rain and it's 10-11 pm. Hope Quest and Harlie are okay.

Anne, so glad you are on a fledge watch! And so cool that the rochester watchers are coming up there! It is so different up there with such high buildings!!!!
You will be fine Anne! And so lucky. And all of you Rochester watchers..you are the best, and Rhea Mae and Tiago's babies will be in fine hands with all of you watching. Yes, it will be different; Toronto is so different from our little city, but you are all such experienced watchers and have such a connection to RM that those fledglings are lucky! Send lots of pictures and reports to all of us locked in couch potatoes. Have fun and keep us "posted"! Please?
