Only 310 votes separates BC and Quebec.  $37000+ isn't bad though.  thumbsup Glad I found this thread

Oh no! Shocked I thought the vote was for Ontario.  So I voted for them, I am so sorry, I should have read the whole thing again.  Tomorrow I will vote for BC for sure.

I'm  not sure where to post this, but will there be chat again on the camera page?  I just wondered if any folks still watch the nest box?  If so I can't get into chat, I click on it and nothing happens.  thanks, Paula
4  Anything Else / Totally OT / I finally saw a beautiful falcon up close and personal..what an experience on: 26-Mar-11, 12:32:30 PM
Hello all, this is Paula, jimala, formally from Branchport/Penn Yan area.  I have been watching since the Mariah Cabot Sirroco, hope I spelled that correctly days.  We have retired to Florida and last weekend I was at a fundraiser representing a small animal sanctuary when I went outside to see the other participants.

I was so thrilled to see a peregrine falcon up close and personal.  It was so much smaller than I had imagined.  It must have been a male.  It had been retired to the bird sanctuary from a traveling bird show because it has a cataract and could no longer hunt.  I was so happy for it, but sad in a way because it was still on display, but then I would never have seen it.  So I had very mixed feelings.

I know that you all will be continuing your wonderful work and helping me stay in touch with "our" falcons, and I thank each and everyone of you for that.

Paula Adwell...jimala

I too send my sincere sympathy to her family and friends, yes, Fly Free with all of your beloved falcons who have gone before.  What a sight it must be for her.  An old Falcon Watcher myself, but only from afar.  Paula Adwell, retired to Florida, but still with all of you as you remember Kathy G.
