Rochester Falcons / Rfalconcam Now / Re: EGG #3

I believe I found it. 10.33pm until 10.47 (10.48pm?) on cam #3.
Sure does look that way! (movie) I went through the video from cam 3-it ran 12:49AM-3:50AM-and other than a few bouts of preening, stretching & cheeping I didn't see anything that looked like egg laying. I did do some fast forwarding so I might have missed something, but I don't think so. She pretty much stayed in the same position the whole time. I think 10:33-10:48 might be it. Any other opinions?

I agree with you, he is so cute. He reminds me of his grandfather. Archer is spending a good bit of time on the eggs; could this mean that he is not visiting LP at KP? Also, since both A and B are spending more time on eggs, is this considered "hard incubation" -- meaning there will not be any additional eggs? Wouldn't it be wonderful if there were lots of Archer's offspring flying the skies this summer?
Apparently he's made an evening visit to KP. At this point he'll do whatever needs doing at whichever site. Hard incubation is something of a judgment call best looked at in retrospect. My opinion is they've started incubation. Although there were a few hours of uncovered eggs, they've been mostly covered since last night. When they start incubating there's usually one more egg coming. Only time will tell.

Rochester Falcons / Satellite Tracking / Re: Quest in same spot for 5 days; Good News!!!!!!!

I have very exciting news for all the followers of Quest that have been concerned about her for the past few days. Your friends up here in the Great North of Canada have sought and found her!! I work in Toronto for the Canadian Peregrine Foundation and we received news today, and confirmed it, that Quest could very well be nesting on a low rise office tower here in Toronto. One of our volunteers is on-site right now and has confirmed her band numbers and that she indeed has a suitor and a ledge picked out. To read the full story and stay in touch with updates, check out our website www.peregrine-foundation.ca and look under international news. Thank you SO MUCH Tracy! I think we all have CPF in our favorites...I'm so happy Quest has decided to join her sister Rhea Mae in Canada!

Any ideas? Is the transmitter still working? Looks like a wooded area in Toronto. Hope she's OK.
The points aren't actually exactly the same. But it makes me wonder if she's nesting...females don't seem to travel far from home at egg time.
