Something shiny would reflect light back so the bird would know there's something there.  Anything hanging in the window to break up the reflection would do.

Just looks like the edge is cut off, but the clock on that camera is still running on the old daylight saving time rules-I think it will fix itself 1st sunday in April.

No egg that I can see this morning, but she was on the ledge for a while when I first got to work.  And lots of talon prints in the snow...

You are good!  I wasn't sure who it was.  Looked kind of smaller, but I guessed Beauty.  But it is Archer. 
What does all of this mean?  How imminent are the eggs?

I wasn't sure at first, so I checked all the cams & there was the white feather!

I don't think we're quite ready for eggs yet.  Their activity in & around the nestbox is increasing so they are progressing.  When Beauty spends a LOT of time in the nestbox just sitting & staring it will be time for egg watch. Disclaimer-you can never be absolutely sure what a peregrine is up to-but those are the typical signs.

Love to see those prints, but right now at 7:59 Beauty in the NB!

She's back laying in the scrape...in the snow...looks like an egg won't be far behind!

Oh my...is that Rhea Mae?   ...And, has Seneca been seen?
  As I looked out at all the birds sitting in the trees and in the fields, with all the snow today, I can't  help but think of their strength, intelligence  and  will to live.  Amazing.  We can all take a lesson from them.  

I am assuming it is Rhea Mae since we haven't heard of a change in the resident pair at the Sheraton.  Seneca hasn't been seen since January at Brookpark Rd. Bridge.  A new female is there now-Green Girl from Harrisburg 2009.  We are all hoping Seneca decided to find a better scrape.

I guess I can tolerate a bit of snow as long as it has lots of falcon prints!

And we have all noticed the great picture on the new internal cams, right?
