Here is a photo of a Killdeer's nest by the main entry drive to Cheshire, CT, High School. 1400 students go past this site at least twice a day. The school buses must pass within 3 feet of the nest on the way to and from the school's main entrance.

I've almost been afraid to check for news on this nest...they've had the most awful luck over & over again.  But nest #2 for this year...so far, so good.  The first of the 2 juvies fledged today and is flying well according to Bruce Yolton on his blog Urban Hawks.

Back to Ustream's social stream (chat)  problem. It works from the rfalconcam.com site if you use IE, Safari, or Chrome, but not Firefox. The only way to get it to work with Firefox is to go to the rfalconcam page on the ustream.tv site.

Hmmm...have to check from home, but your initial tests are showing up in firefox (v3.6.8 ) here at work (which is odd, cause it's usually blocked), but I can't log into a social stream from here to try posting...I'll let you know...

And the time of your last post is changing when I re-open the page.

I'm a regular reader of the Rfalconcam forum, though I never post anything. I
haven't been able to get any updated posts for several days. I tried to logout,
and that gives me an error message. I tried doing it again, and then it seemed
to work, so I logged back in, with no change in the most recent post I receive.
The next to last post that I see has the picture of a beautiful poster
announcing a bird watching weekend at Cape May. It was days ago that I first saw
that. I've logged out several times over the last couple of days, with no
improvement. Can one of the moderators log me out, or something, so I can get
things back to normal? My username is MaryAlice over there. Thanks.

  here I go again!  Outstanding videos & pictures...almost as good as being there myself!  And a thank you to the DEC for including Jemison's watchers in the release.
