I received this report from Doug at Pt Colborne today (6/7/10)
He reports that he is sure he saw Quest in the nest box again at 1 pm today. She stayed for about 1/2 hour. Quest seemed interested in the box & checked out the scrape. He did not have his camera with him today, but will try to get a pic for us if she returns.
You'll remember that Freedom, Mariah and Kaver's first son, nested there for a few years and that this is where Archer was born.
I hope Doug is able to get pictures of Quest!
Looks like Doug wasn't hallucinating...the transmitter don't lie!

Hey Janet & Rich...spotted this note from Mary over on the other board...
From: MaryTyson@... Date: Mon Jun 7, 2010 11:27 am Subject: Re: Happy 31st Anniversary Janet & Rich
Dear Janet and Rich: I hope you had a most happy day. I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with really good pizza. Although there are many soi-disant pizzerias around here (Charlotte, NC), there is no pizza worthy of the name. About the best I can get is "Mama Mary's" pre-made crust with my own toppings. In Charlotte they think garlic is something that comes granulated in a jar. I have been here almost seven bleak pizzaless years. Oh, pizza fairy, take me back to Connecticut, where even cold leftover pizza is better than what they serve in this city. I am firmly convinced there is no real pizza south of Mason & Dixon's line. I long for pizza with fresh garlic, homemade sausage, extra mozzarella. Deep dish Chicago style brimming with sauteed mushrooms is OK, too -- but they never heard of it in Charlotte. Love to you both, Mary (pizzaless in Charlotte)
