He was reported by Mark (the watcher watcher) as flying up then off before the cam could catch him.  He then proceeded to Mercury's base.  I heard him calling on the second of Shaky's hatch clips.

Has Archer been around at all to see his new family? I've been gone all afternoon but have been getting updates from my sis and Janet by phone.



He was reported by Mark (the watcher watcher) as flying up then off before the cam could catch him.  He then proceeded to Mercury's base.  I heard him calling on the second of Shaky's hatch clips.

Picture of Eyas and a 2nd egg with the beginning of a pip, I think.

Sure does look like a pip starting to me...that area only had hairline cracks when the other egg hatched...now a piece of shell is gone...soon!

Finally, a good resolution shot of little egg head...


...and note the pip in the egg in front...little raised white spot up at the top.  You could see the cracking earlier when #1 first hatched.

Well, wherever he was, he's back now.  I think he may have just been hiding...I don't think they really come & go when they're first branching.
