Has Archer been around at all to see his new family? I've been gone all afternoon but have been getting updates from my sis and Janet by phone.

Look at the tiny talon!  AWWW!

I've seen others do the same thing...while she might eat one or two, she's actually building up the "crib rails".

WOW!  I've never heard such a tiny eyas before!  Oh how sweet!  I'm so happy!

Sure does look like a pip starting to me...that area only had hairline cracks when the other egg hatched...now a piece of shell is gone...soon!

Finally, a good resolution shot of little egg head...

...and note the pip in the egg in front...little raised white spot up at the top.  You could see the cracking earlier when #1 first hatched.

Well, wherever he was, he's back now.  I think he may have just been hiding...I don't think they really come & go when they're first branching.
