Don't know if the nest cam is stuck or it's my evil work 'puter...but I got quite a few of 3 eyases that I'll post from home...but here's one for now...looks like one so far unhatched at the back of the pile...

I thought so too...just missed capturing it, so I'm glad you did!  Even when the cam is operating perfectly it's tough to count beaks here.

When I left work yesterday at 3:00pm there was still only 1 egg in the scrape. Today when I arrived at work  it was 5:30am & I couldn’t se a darn thing, but when the sun came up & the female finally got off the scrape, I noticed that there were 2 eggs. I’m not sure if the 2nd egg was produced last night or early today. Mom was on & off the eggs quite a bit while I was there today so maybe she plans on having more as it does not appear that full incubation has started.

I was so busy saving that I didn't notice she was feeding them-or trying to.  It looks to me like the pile may be larger than 2, but I'll reserve judgment until I can count beaks!

I asked her about it awhile ago and she thought it might have to do with new, very reflective buildings that have been built near the Sheraton.  Possibly causing all the light.

It doesn't seem to be more light to me-the Osler cam doesn't look any brighter.  I suspect the aperture settings are off kilter-like when our team was tweaking the new cam to get better night vision-it sometimes didn't reset in the morning & the picture was overexposed.  But I don't know if it's a camera adjustment, software, auto adjustment sensor...lots of things it could be.

Isn't there a way to fix that Ei? Forget capturing  pic during the daylight hours.

I don't know anything about their setup so I don't know what's causing it.  Maybe Linda has some idea.  Just have to wait for evening or a cloud to pass by
