But seriously...I conked out last night before I could check all my notes...a quick review of previous Kaver's back/1st egg dates shows about 3 weeks between events, so we could be waiting a while yet... OK...checked my notes last night...the average span from 1st sighting of Kaver to Mariah's 1st egg was 22.57 days. The shortest was 17 days, longest 24 days. A&B may be somewhat different, but I think we've got a while to go yet.

Four eggs for Rhea Mae & Tiago! !!! 4 EGGS At The Sheraton Toronto! March 30, 2010 - Toronto - Sheraton Centre Linda Woods Reports: Tiago and Rhea Mae now have 4 Eggs. The image is difficult to see for most of the day, except for those early birds that are up before the crack of dawn. But, just by chance I clicked on the Toronto Sheraton Camera and finally , Luck, 4 eggs sitting in the tray. Now that’s enough Rhea Mae, start incubating! Posted on March 30, 2010 7:31 pm Observation for Toronto - Sheraton Centre 4th Egg is in the tray

Allright, people, listen up...he just got back a week ago...he's cute, but I haven't seen him in months... takes a while to get back in the swing of things...I'll lay an egg when I'm good & ready...
I don't know... Wasn't like that when I was young! Well, that was last year...any old gutter would do. This year Beauty is insisting on a proper scrape with a roof and pretty gravel...takes a bit more convincing, I guess I gotta know right now...do you love me? Will you love me forever? Do you need me? Will you never leave me? ... Come on! Give a guy a break!

Is there a site out there where I could enter band colors and numbers to help identify falcons, or any other banded bird? Just asking. Thanks!!
Morning Guru, I know there is a database of band #'s from the mid-west, not sure what the URL is. Maybe someone could post it? It's sometimes hard to track down a band #, since there is no universal list. I know I have it in my research folder at home-but it's only mid-west peregrines. The other site is the Patuxent bird banding lab (again, link at home)...but you have to send in a band # and wait for a response. A few other state sites list the bands used in a given year in their annual peregrine report, but it's spotty.
