Well, according to the time stamp on the picture from the CPF website, it was this 2:30 afternoon!

Linda Woods just emailed me to say that Rhea Mae has laid a 2nd egg.  Don't know when it happened.  WooHoo!  You go Rhea Mae!   

She's been on the nest tray all night (so far)...I had a feeling egg #2 was on it's way!  YIPPEE!!!   

Actually, she reminded me of my late husband's Polish grandmother...she'd give you a look like that just before she took the wooden spoon to your nether regions 

I think this is Beauty...didn't put a foot out for a band check...



SHAKY!!!  We need some tweaking on the main cam, please!  Got a feeling the game is afoot!

My office has the second and third windows from the south side on the east face of the building, 10th floor.

Being a non-Rochesterian I've been trying to get the picture in my head...it's hard to count floors from the outside sometimes...found this picture of the east face...



So, is there one more row of regular windows above your floor?  

And while I was searching for a picture I ran across this blog and while looking at the first picture I noticed something on the nestbox corner...then looked at the next picture and there's the main cam & a glimpse of the nestbox!

I don't have my full chart here at work, but the one posted in the old yahoo board has a 1st egg range from March 24-April 9 for the M&K years-so B&A aren't actually behind schedule, though Archer was later arriving than Kaver used to be.  Don't know how that will affect things.  The ground watchers may have seen them elsewhere, but the courtship displays at TS seem to me to be typical for the chosen scrape.  Time will tell...this is my first time closely watching a new pair set up a new territory at a previously unused location, so despite watching here since 2004, I'm learning something new every day...

I am speechless...think I need to take stock in Kleenex this year  ...WOW!

A favorite late night pastime is going to a favorite blog & randomly following the blogroll wherever it leads me.  I wound up at one called moqo-moqo via TYWKIWDBI that's just wildlife photos with no to extremely brief descriptions and where it was found (warning:the names in some of the credits are a bit off color).  For older posts there's a teensy arrow all the way at the bottom.  Anyway, I saw these 2 pics today...one is AWWWW overload...the other just made me laugh (both via starcrossed1)...

Taking a look at Quest's map... she's getting closer... Now I'm wondering about that adult female who got chased off today.

I looked at Quest's March map today-it looks like the weekly map hasn't been updated yet-after a side trip to Montreal, she's back near Prince Edward Point & Lennox again.
