Jeez, what are they feedin' that kid, chopped liver?     

Yesterday every time I tuned in Savannah was feeding the poor little thing...looked like her crop was gonna bust!  And earlier today I saw Savannah with a big juicy rat...that is one well fed eaglet!

At a distance, starlings look black. In summer they are purplish-green iridescent with yellow beaks; in fresh winter plumage they are brown, covered in brilliant white spots.

Beauty at the nestbox.  At the same time Kathy O had a falcon on Mercury.  Looks like Beauty is sharing her statue with the new male.

Sounds like it's getting serious 

Joyce, pretty good chance it's the same bird-the markings are pretty similar to my eyes.

OK...had to collage it with a view in the same direction...I think he's different.  The malar stripe appears narrower in yesterday's bird-larger white area & higher up toward his eye...



But I may be wrong...opinions?

And kudos to Dad.  I'm sure many of you remember 2008-his first season-he had no idea what to do-Mom wound up doing most of the fishing when they were tiny.  Well, this year he is keeping the pantry full!

Could this be the same bird as 2 weeks ago?  Definitely no bands...but not our QT either...he's white over his cere.  Beauty sure did seem to be enjoying his company!
