Well, that surely narrows it down.  I was on my way to the observation deck when I took the picture.  Now I remember I missed some great flying and the beautiful pictures of Linn on the pipe because I stopped.  If Sacajawea was part of that, you're probably right about it being Ananta...she's too light to be Grace.

Looks like Archer is starting to molt...isn't it a bit early for that?   

I recall M&K would usually start molting just about the time the juvies got their wings firmly under them...so mid-late July.  The pics Lou took of Beauty July 25th looked like she was molting, so I'd say he's right on schedule.

My avatar is cropped out of a picture I took fledge watch weekend 2007.  I've used it for a long time on other forums so it didn't really matter WHO it was, it just got the conversation started about M&K and the kids.  But now that I'm using it HERE I'm wondering again who it is.  It was taken from the east end of the bridge looking back west.  There was a fellow there (I don't think he was part of our group) with a camera & ginormous lens on a tripod who pointed her out...I snuck in below his camera & took the picture.

Finally caught a glimpse of the cub tucked under Bai Yun's chin

I just have to note that the pets section has more pages than any other on the new forum...what a classy bunch of people we are

Panda Cub Arrives!

We have a new addition to our panda collection at the San Diego Zoo. At 4:58 this morning, Bai Yun gave birth to a vigorous, squawking infant! The staff here is elated and is, as always, in awe of Bai Yun and her perfect maternal skills.

Baron is a 'he'. He's a fictional character that any falcon can model for - male or female.

Well, I think she looks....noble....

NO!  You misunderstand...I would NEVER pick on little Linn!  Just saying Linn looks quite noble (though thinking "dress-up AGAIN?" has crossed my mind) in her role as the the fearsome Baron...and way cool in the shades too!
