Bonnie, I would dearly love to read this report but it will not load in for me. I'll try again in the morning, but perhaps there is a link to the same report that isn't so long??? Dot in PA Kathy Clark has been keeping track of toxins in NJ birds. Here is her peregrine falcon 2016 report.
It downloaded as a pdf file on my computer rather than opening as a web page.

Canadian Peregrine Foundation 9 hrs ยท MAJOR NEWS UPDATE!!!! A MUST READ!!! Thanks to the watchful eyes of Linda down at the Toronto Sheraton watch, we have some absolutely incredible news to share with you tonight. While Linda was upstairs in the Sheraton checking on our fledglings there, she looked north at Mount Sinai and saw something unusual on the third ledge from the north. Bruce followed up with a check after which Linda, Harry and myself all stood elated in confirming this amazing event we were all witnessing. Mount Sinai has three hatchlings ready to fledge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More details to come as this story unfolds
Apparently, they are close to each other but they don't care????
King St. is right down the block too. Mt. Sinai is where Ranger was. Lots of pefas in a small area!

Colors of the 4th last night Metropolitan was red, white, and blue. Tower 280's marquee was red, white and blue. Legacy and Xerox alternated between red, white, and blue. The library was just blue. Wouldn't it be great if the Metropolitan had alternating red and white stripes with a blue rectangle in the corner? If you count the "stripes" on the building, you will find that there are 13. Just checking...so Metropolitan is what was formerly known as Chase and Lincoln?

What sad news...poor baby... Knowing the area where the nest is, as unconscionable as the rule reversals are, it may not be at the root of this particular case. Elizabeth NJ is known for it's oil refineries, oil storage, port facilities, and it borders on Newark Airport. No telling what pollutants are there and have been for as long as anyone remembers. I remember driving through there as a child. You had to close the windows in the car because of the stink. I don't go by there very often now and I think it's a bit better than my childhood memories, but it's still there.

Wow, I just noticed this page! Thank you all for the welcome. I've never posted to a forum before so it will take me some time to learn. I've read them for years, but never posted.
There is a bit of a learning curve-just ask and we'll walk you through it!
