Well, I for one still enjoy Harry Belafonte's calypso hit of Matilda.

Most people here are probably too young to remember the suave and handsome Belafonte and this very catchy tune of a woman who did him wrong.

I remember Harry Belafonte but that song was popular before I was born. I found it on youtube and it sounds familiar, but not one I know well.
Waltzing Matilda, on the other hand, was a standard folk song we learned in school. It was also very popular for glee clubs. That's probably where I know it best.
