These 2 are going to be tough to tell apart in the field. Facial markings are pretty similar. Golden is only a tad bigger than Freyja now. Golden's cheek patches are a bit more reddish. Freyja's are more beige. Golden does seem to have a pale patch over his cere, but it may be residual fluff. Feet are about the same color now. Good thing they're banded!
I'm sure you've all been thinking about it as I have. They should be flying by next week and I just don't think I can manage to get to Rochester any time soon this year.
Not covid per se this year, but my responsibilities at work have changed with covid and taking a Friday &/or Monday off is just not going to happen. Too many state mandated reports to prepare and submit. I was hoping they would ease up with the restrictions, but no such luck.
Maybe and end of season get together in late summer/fall?
