This is the best one I could get...

Breakfast under way...3 beaks for sure. No sign of a 4th. Pics to follow

There were a few pictures that looked like 4, but it's so hard to really see what's going on in there. Need to set up a spotting scope next to the camera ;

I just looked in on Quest and I think I'm seeing a 4th unhatched egg in front of her.  Am I imagining it?  It's very grainy and hard to see.

I was wondering that too. Or it could be a half shell. It would be pretty late for it to be a hatch, but we've seen up to a week. We'll have to wait until we have a chance to count beaks.

Good that you found it before it caused a chronic irritation. I'll bet once that's out, the healing will go much faster. I'm thinking of you.

Me, too.  Might want to ask if there are any stitches that you can't see while you are at it.  Anything other than the ugly old catgut irritates me something terrible.  Good luck and praying for you. xoxo

I'm one of those lucky ones that don't dissolve dissolvable sutures. About a year after my hysterectomy I had a tiny boil along the incision scar...and out came a piece of dissolvable suture. My periodontist didn't believe me when he did my gum surgery & used them...had to go back to have them removed...they never dissolved.

Welcome #3!

Does that look like fluff poking out of #4?

DC brings food and it was denied!
He tried again and was denied

There was a 3rd attempt around 5:30. He got to sit with them for a few minutes while Beauty took it away

Hard to count the fluffballs, but a big pip in the egg in front of her

Looks like a crack in one of the eggs when Beauty got up

Dinner! And we're still at pip stage on #3
4454  Rochester Falcons / Rochester Falcon Discussion / Re: D&C article about the new eyases! on: 06-May-15, 06:17:48 PM
One mistake in that article-they have not been nesting at Times Square for the last 9 years. It's more like 6, since 2009.  Wink

A little poetic license I think...Kodak dropped the Birdcam project in 2006 and that's when Rfalconcam was born. So RFC has been hosting the cams for 9 years, 6 of them at Times Square.

WanderingFalcon (Carol P.): DC keeps trying to feed the eyases. B won't let him. He takes the food with him.
