It appears there are 2 hatchlings on the nest! I saw Mom in feeding posture yesterday as I zoomed by to work. I stopped on my way home and spotted a photographer with a big gun...might have been a spotting scope...it was across 4 lanes & a median. Anyway, with a bit of charades he told me he saw her feeding to 2 spots in the nest so 2 for sure! No pics from me-I could barely focus on her through the trees with my binoculars.

Unless I'm starting to see things, one of Quest's eggs has a pip (see attached). She's a lot more active than she has been.
It's very hard to see anything in that nest box. I'm not really sure when to say hard incubation started. There was an unusually long gap between eggs 2 & 3 (#2 arrived 03/26 & #3 03/30). If we count from 03/30 it should be Saturday or thereabouts. P.S.-if a moderator could move this discussion to the Quest & Skye thread that would be great. Thanks. Done. Thanks

I do see a white spot when Skye is rolling the eggs, but knowing what a control freak Quest is, I really doubt she'd leave him on the eggs if one is actually pipped.
