Edit-just went to update Surge on the family tree & I see his son Joe (2010) is on the tree as partner of Linn's daughter Rhiannon-no offspring yet.

It's amazing what these birds can tolerate and still have a successful season.

The first time I saw something like this was Ft. St. Vrain, Colorado (I think). Poor mother eagle was completely covered.

Snowing!! Up to 8 more inches here! I would love to enjoy it if I weren't so sick!!

Thursday, March 5, 2015 - The Hamilton Community Peregrine Project regrets to advise all Falconwatchers that Surge has died. Although apparently well when first seen at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) this morning, while being examined he suddenly expired. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to see if it is possible to learn what caused his death.

You had a good long life Surge...fly free!

Quest has taken shelter from the blowing snow since about 11AM and is still there at 3PM

I'm beginning to wonder if there's any male here.  

If there isn't now I'm sure there will be one in due time. Toronto is prime real estate.
