So after posting the above from emails that came overnight.  I checked my emails again because of course I"m nervous and waiting for news.  The watchers just sent an email saying Marlene was up early to check on Aria and lo and behold she laid an egg sometime during the night!  After all that, bless her little heart , I hope she can stay safe!

Will there be a 2nd egg? Beauty usually averages 57 hrs between eggs. It's been over 75 hrs since she laid her first one. All quiet, so hopefully the intruder has moved on and Beauty starts laying eggs again.

I seem to recall another year where one of the eggs was very late. I tried to look it up last night but got distracted. It may have been the last time there was a serious intruder a few years ago. We shall see!
