Updated file attached: "2014-2002 Rochester Falcons - Names & Bands"
This file has been updated to reflect the 2014 Rochester Falcons (Rfalconcam) and other known falcons sighted from the Rochester area.
Files attached to previous posts have been removed.
99 needs to be updated to a male Well, technically, until he and Billie produce an eyas together, we still aren't 100% sure Are you kidding me!? Nope. Sabrina wasn't officially changed to Valiant until he and Zanar had eyases, even though Zanar was banded as female. The only one I know who was re-gendered before eyases is Oliver/Olivia at the Sheraton last year. And that was only because when she was rescued they saw she had outgrown the male band, remeasured her and she then fit a female band. WE can call them what WE believe to be true; but the banding record cannot change before eyases as proof.

NE got hit though!
Cheaters never prosper. Two feet of karma in your driveway can't feel good. Talk about deflated balls. Blizzard bust here too. Maybe an inch.

Donna, Ei, Ginny and everyone else on the east coast stay hunkered down until the storm passes and I'll be praying the worst you have to deal with is shoveling your way out! ... or rationing the mulled wine. Thanks MAK! And no spirits at home, Bobbie...phoo! We've moved into the 6"-12" band now...better than the 12"-18" we were in this morning. Hopefully it actually does stay on the other side of the Hudson.

You know what is shocking to me? Here we have two older tiercels the past few weeks either losing a site or injured (since we can't see the cams now can't say for sure a new male has displaced Surge until they confirm) and here is Jack with two sites...I mean Surge and he were born the same year. I wonder how much longer he can do it given the population increase. Sorry to get off topic but I just saw Jack on cam and it popped in my head. Maybe not shocking, but certainly curious. Does Jack spend much time at his other site in the winter? Maybe there's something not enticing about the residential site that keeps intruders away. Windwhistler did it for many years between King St. with Erin & the Sheraton with Wind, though there were very few nests then. Maybe there's an advantage there...after Tiago displaced him he was able to maintain King St. for all these years since. We'll just have to wait & see. Hope Surge does well...

Bobbie-do you mean your unread posts since last visit? I've lost mine a few times when I had to close the forum and come back. It's the "last visit" thing. Nothing to be done. But you can catch up by going to the forum home page http://rfalconcam.com/forum/index.php and any topic that has an unread post will show a dark blue falcon on the left rather than a grayed out one. Click on the topic and you'll see the same for any posts you haven't read. If that's not what you mean we'll need a few more clues. Under Forum at the top it used to say view unthreaded posts it now says View Timeline. That might be what she meant. The name might be different, but it looks the same as unthreaded used to. I guess we'll need to wait for Bobbie to wake up in the morning!
