I see two, one in the red section (sort of left center), and one on the right in the gray section.  Thanks Carol and Shaky!

And that's why I'm not a watcher!   lol
It happens to all of us at one time or another!   laugh

And for those who may still be scratching their heads...

No, the thumbnail should show up on the forum if you are doing it right.

For some bizarre reason it took a few minutes for the thumbnail to appear at first.

Feaked??

When they wipe their beak off on their perch. Did I miss that in the glossary?

I guess I did miss it...note to self...and someone remind me if I forget...

At least the nest box was part of the plan and not an afterthought...

99 is a good temporary name. It's quick and easy to text. If we ever need a more permanent name, we could use the runner-up in the poll that selected Veteran.

Great work MAK!  I was wondering if that's where he was from!

And I agree...99 works just fine...

Well, given the other costs, $100K seems pretty reasonable...

The nest box is the cheapest item on the list!

How far along is the new construction?

They're just starting work on the piers now. It's in a slightly different position from the original bridge.

Doesn't look like there's any gravel in that box.  scared blue

I think what we're seeing is the playpen...box floor is out of sight below it.

Wonder what they're going to do when the new Tappan Zee bridge is finished? I don't recall if it's staying up or coming down...though it is a few years away...

I think they are burrowing owls. They take over burrows made by other critters, like ground squirrels. They are very tiny, too.

Debbie

Thanks! I don't know my owls very well  Embarrassed
