C'mon #4! You can do it! I'm not giving up until Beauty does. It still has a few days. Last year there was 2 full days from the 1st hatch to the last. I do see a small pip in that last egg - above that double ridge. If the kid chips out above the double shell then it could hatch successfully. I was just reviewing the cams and was about to post the same pic. Yes, if it cracks over the line Beauty should be able to shimmy it open. Talons crossed.

I see DC still has that scar/lack of feathers on his head that he got rather mysteriously almost a year ago. He must have been defending the territory in some way, shape or form. He doesn't seem to mind that he's not perfect anymore.
Yup, same as Beauty still has the scar/missing feathers on the right side of her face from her fight with Unity oh so many years ago.

I agree. However, if you look not at the still photo of the hatch but at the screenshot I took, it looks more like the side of it. That never happens, though, so it must be an optical illusion. B's a good shimmier. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she can handle this.
I have a feeling she'll take care of it. And the empty shell pieces are very light-not likely it will stay stuck. And, we now have 100% proof that they don't hatch in the order they were laid. The light eggs were #3 & 4.

9.26 am and just saw an egg that is chipped half way around as DC was rearranging the eggs! Ok maybe not..lol...funny what you think you see and what the cam shows. 9:06 am all eggs are shown on main cam. In this picture I think I see that the 2 lighter colored eggs have cracks too. Yup-dark eggs are definitely pipping. Early pip on the right light egg, possible very early pip left light egg.

Thanks for the videos! I was watching the stream when DC got up and I excitedly said "Pip!" Then I got the screenshot and went back to try to get a screenshot of Beauty tucking them under her, but missed it. Now in viewing the videos and the screenshot I have some doubts. We'll just have to keep watching! We shall see! I don't hear any cheeping yet.
