I think MAK's right. I took a look as I was heading down to Hot Rosita's to grab lunch, and it looked like some of the last of the feathers flew off. I think DC and B need to do some housekeeping up there.
Better up there than the nestbox. I have to say Beauty and DC are pretty neat compared to others we watch on cam like UB for example. Most of the meals here are pretty well plucked clean before they get to the nestbox...and that corner of OCSR is a favorite prep-kitchen. They're both neatniks...one pair of wings & a couple of heads is nothing compared to Quest!

Wow that went fast!
6/3/2013 :: All falcons fledged On the morning of Friday, May 31st, the yellow-banded male was the first fledge. After a few short flights, he landed inside a balcony on the 16th floor of the Rachel Carson State Office Building. He was later rescued and released onto the roof.
Over the weekend, the blue-banded female was rescued and taken to the Red Creek Wildlife Center because of exhaustion and dehydration. She has recovered and will be released onto the building later today.
The other falcons--white-band and red-band are making short flights around the building. DEP Environmental Education staff, interns and volunteers are coordinating the Falcon Watch and Rescue Program.
