WOW, DK. that is so much better than the still shots.  Thanks, they have been
at it all day and RM has been at her ledge all day, protecting it from the "hard hat spideymen" who were crawling up her hotel walls yesterday.  Must be the Spring Love Season..

Thankfully it doesn't "read" to the corp. firewall as video. All my stills from there are saved frames from video capture-just easier to set the recorder & let it go.

The refresh rate was increased on the cam so It actually comes out like a video!

Zephyr was seen at the end of March, 2009, in his juvie plumage doing lots of fancy flying and vocalizing for Beauty when she was still at the BS location.  Of course at that time, we had not positively ID'd her.  I think I have a video out there on Youtube showing Zephyr flying for Beauty.  Since then, there has not been any reported sightings of Zephyr.

I thought he was seen once after that...for some reason I'm thinking near Buffalo

There was some speculation that the tiercel at the Buffalo grain elevators (I think) might be Zephyr-someone maybe saw yellow tape-but it was never confirmed.

While I'd hate to hear we've lost Zeus, he had a good long life.

I can't seem to read the VID band...I can see it's black/red...with that & the purple band he should be in the midwest database...

Indeed it is. At least we know Mariah survived...and we've grown to love Beauty...

Patsy - This was too early for Beauty and Archer.  Beauty was actually first spotted at the BS location and Archer was Mariah's mate for a short while before she lost her territory.

Ah, okay, thanks Carol.  I didn't know Beauty once made BS her home, and I think I forgot on purpose that Mariah and Archer were mates at one time (don't want to think about that grandmother/grandson thing).   

Someone had mentioned in one of the comments...before Beauty was ID'd at BS her nickname was Clarice. And if memory serves me correctly, she was hanging out there with Zephyr. Or at least he was spotted with her once. Winter 2008-2009. And as much as I love her now & hate to recall it, she is the female who took down Mariah.

There's a rope hanging over, RM was there but left suddenly! Gee, I wonder why!

Hopefully just a window washer...best to get it done now before the season is in full swing...

In our Eagle Cam Web Log this morning we predicted the 3rd egg wouldn't hatch, and it just did. We'll have to see how it does being so late to the game.

That scares me, being so late. Hope the others don't hog all the food! Not watching another one wilt away!

I didn't catch the picture, but it was just sitting up with the other 2 having lunch. They are a well experienced pair, so fingers crossed!
