Orville stooped!

He wound up on the ground and was rescued using standard fledge watch techniques -- watchers slowly approaching from front and rear.

(movie) He may need piecing back together to get a mold. That was quite a drop.

A family in Arlington, Virginia, had their chimney capped, unaware that a raccoon and her babies lived there. The United States Humane Society came and removed the raccoon and two babies and set them free outside. But there were actually four in the litter, which wasn't evident until the next day. The last two babies were removed and put in a "reunion box" and left for the mother to find. The best part of this story is the camera trap footage of what happened when the reunion box was left out overnight.

I apologize for not having better photos to share at the moment.  I debated whether to do something on the forum about her but then I decided if I did, it would be like saying she's perished and I'd rather believe she got away and is flying around out there somewhere free and happy.

I find it fascinating that Beauty's new chest feathers are lighter in color than normal

They're very pretty.  Wonder if Orion will inherit this color.  Carly said, if I remember right, that Angel also had similar coloring.

Dot's chest has some peachy feathers too, but most are white. I haven't gone back to the early pictures yet to see if they've always been that way...

I think it's Orion perched in the middle-lays down a couple of times. Also, I think Beauty arrives for a few frames on the upper right rail of the platform.

Very nice of whichever falcon it is to sit right in the middle under the platform where we can see them today!
