Just got to work and where is Orion?  I don't see him on cam??

Edit to add:  Thank you Shaky for zooming in the cam!  Whew almost choked on my coffee when I brought up the cam and didn't see him 

Quite a few hiding spots. Callidora used to lay in that exact spot-freaked us all right out the first time. And cam 4 was put in to see the whole wall to the north of the NB-there were times no one was available to move the camera & we couldn't see that end.

There is one spot he hasn't found yet that I need to mention-there is room behind the nestbox for him to hide. Jemison did that once-could just see a tiny bit of tail poking out on main cam.

That has got to be one of the best EVER!   

Orion still has a bit too much fluff.  Looks like he has another couple of days before fledging.  Isn't it only 37 days today?  39-40 days would be good to go.  Plus, he has helicopter parents who aren't going to let him go far.

In theory he could go at 37 days-which is tomorrow. I think he'll be a bit longer. His flight feathers are looking good. He just needs a bit more stamina.

The breakfast tantrum!

Beauty (I think) dropped off another chunk and Orion took it to the nest box to eat.

Beauty came in with food...Orion grabbed it from her on the south corner...ran back to the nest box...Beauty came over to help...Orion started mantling-then grabbed to food & ran off...ended up outside the rail on the south ledge! 

I was recording-he had a bit of a tantrum-I will upload it later once my B/P comes down!
