From the CPF Age Guide: Around day 16, dark spots can be seen along the edges of the wings, indicating the growth of the flight feathers underneath the covering of down. The down on the head also begins to take on a "rougher" texture around this time.

I thought I saw the starts of tail feathers yesterday. I definitely didn't see the wing feathers yesterday.

And here's another milestone...

I didn't see who brought dinner, but Dot & Beauty were both there. Beauty was in the box making her duck-like intruder in the neighborhood-leave quietly & no one gets hurt- sound. Dot was on the south platform corner watching something. And Baby decided she'd had enough waiting for dinner...



...and tried to grab some herself!

Beauty landed on the wall. She then went to the bump-I was hoping a still cam caught her-she looked lovely in the sun-no such luck.
