I wish I could give an inside home to all of them.  Thank you for making their outside life as good as it can be.

We were all saddened to learn of Unity's demise, especially since she was one of our "graduates," but in her honor, one of the two females who hatched from the nest of Belle and Allen this year was given the same name. (There were two males as well.) So who knows who may once again swoop in from western skies...

What a nice thing to do!  We are still all very sad that Unity is gone-she was a lovely falcon-glad her name will live on in her sister!

Are all three back in the nb? Looks like only two to me.

Maybe Blaze is a little underweight?  The females are much larger.

That's a normal weight for a tiercel-1/3 smaller than a female

Yeah. As much as I appreciate the whys and hows of this process, I kinda wish we didn't have to disrupt them this way. They look so panicked!

But in the end Quest & Kendal will have won a difficult defense of the nest, so it's all good.

When I saw, she was pulling something long out of the shell! Is there leftovers in the shell? I'll have to look it up.
