The only problem I see is you can't edit. Hmm. They will hopefully fix that.

The app was developed by the site itself.  I wish I could take credit!

I don't know if they're planning to add editing through the app.  It's currently set up so that only my master account can do edits.  It is a bit challenging getting the relationships set up right-partners instead of "marriage"-linking to multiple family lines-laughing when entering offspring & it asks-"The mother is only 3 years old...are you sure?"  Easier for right now to funnel info through me.

The Ap is something that Jeanne asked me about awhile back and I brought it up at our Rfalconcam meeting.  Shaky jumped on it and walaaaa!  

Thanks Shaky & Ei for figuring out how to do this ap.  It will be a very nice tool for those Watchers that have phones that can do aps.  A way to quickly check band colors and numbers to ID any falcons we need to ID.  Won't be me for awhile.  Maybe someday.

I haven't seen how it looks in the app either-it will be quite a while before I get a smart phone.  I did look around & there are some programs you can use to run android on a PC, but I haven't gotten there yet.

I'm guessing you can browse all the photos that are in there.  That's one reason I was looking for more photos of all the birds.  In the static chart I had to pick one that made a decent thumbnail, but I'd love to have a few for each.

What's this?  No duck tape?

Clear packing tape. Duck tape doesn't hold up well to Rochester weather.

This piece of tape needed to be longer to wrap over the side of the camera housing. It will probably come off soon. No big deal. It's only keeping the camera wires neat. We'll apply a longer piece on banding day. (knock on wood)

Not much duck tape will actually stand up to in the long run, let alone a windy perch in the winter.  Its reputation exceeds it.

It works well on keeping my tux together.

No...I always worry that it will turn out to be someone else. 

OK. So Mr. is NOT Mr. T, right?? I am confused...

Since neither is banded we can't be 100% sure, but my opinion based on comparison photos is it's not the same bird.
