No, Donna, it was not exactly a vacation. We had a big leak in the upstairs bathroom last week and ended up staying with our daughter to avoid the noise and mess of the industrial fans and dehumidifiers. All is dry at last and we get our living room ceiling repaired and repainted today, and upstairs bathroom ceramic tiles replaced tomorrow. THEN we will celebrate my birthday!

I live quite close to Allentown and saw the story yesterday morning. It's not easy to see the nest area from the street but believe me, I will be looking.
awful news! I can't understand why the developers were given permission to take the young peregrines. The alleged "conservation" agencies in charge of such matters are completely useless. I hope the babies will be released successfully, but I feel really bad for the parents. Sinful!!!!!
